Developing freedom to sketch and paint in a loose way using mixed media. 

This course is a chance to play and develop a looser style of sketching and painting with a focus on landscape and nature.

You will have a chance to work with different drawing and painting media to create energy and flow in your work. This is a great way to try out media that you may not have used before and find new favourites to add to your art kit, bringing new life to your paintings and drawings. All of these techniques can be applied across many different styles.

Sharon will demonstrate some ideas in the studio but, being summer and hopefully better weather,  she hopes the group will be able to go outside to work 'en plein air' for a couple of sessions to make quick, limited palette sketches and paint studies.
